Django is Ivan's personal
competition dog . He got his SchH III title at 2 years old .
At 2yrs 4months old he
competed at the USA Nationals where he placed 15th.
Since 2000 Django
dominated the Schutzhund arena for all breeds at all competitions in thecountry!!!
Django won the individual SchH3 competition at the AWDF 2000
all breed championship with
the score of 291! He took high in obedience and high in protection in trial
as well. With a 5 points gap between him and the second place dog.
Three months later, after
becoming the AWDF Champion, Django took the Europeans
by surprise. At the 2000
World Championship in Germany he became the
vice
Champion of the World for Belgian Shepherds with the same score
as at the
AWDF - 291 (96/97/98) points
only one point off from the 1st place. Django tied for
high protection and took
the trophy for the best young dog at the world championship,
...
not 3 years yet !!!
At the 2000 USA Nationals
Django was 1st place H. O. T.
2001 AWDF Champion with
score of 292 (94/99/99) obedience judge from
Finland/Paavo Rapila and
Swiss judge/Louis Quadroni
2001 Django wins the USA
Nationals with 96/94/98 (288) !
2002 USA Nationals places
3rd overall with score of 290 ( 98/95/97)
2003 Django wins the first
AWMA Nationals with 289 (95/96/98) high obedience and high protection as
well.
Django is the most consistent
working dog I have owned, he trully lives to work
Further on this page you
can see some of his performances at world andnational championships. |
Working on Belgian Ring suit, Django can handle any environmental
stress, and opposition form the decoy
At the AWDF 2002 Django was injured very bad on the courage
test, since then he has not been able to
recover completely regardless of the medical treatment and suplements
...,
He could have won or placed in the top 3 at least at two world
championships after that
, but even though he tries hard to overcome the pain in his upper back,
his protection work ( especially the long bites)
were never the same since the accident.
Here is a picture taken from a video that shows the catch on wich Django
got hurt
Thank You Django for all the wonderful times
on the field with me !
We still have many unforgetable moments ahead of us !
