Not all Malinois are the same. Different breeders are breeding dogs for certain characteristics, and “high energy” is one of these. There is a very important difference between a high energy dog and a hyperactive dog that does not know how to rest. The energy level of a dog should be looked much more on an individual basis than to label a whole breed of dogs as hyperactive lunatics.
